Welcome Back Students, Faculty & Staff
Labor Day weekend means school has started, and the Bob is the perfect place for students, faculty and staff at Pittsburgh's colleges and universities to relax and unwind when you aren't in class. You can play up to 18 holes for only $12, whenever you show us your valid ID card.

Arnold Palmer Learning Center 
If you have been to the Bob in the past two weeks, you know that construction of the Arnold Palmer Learning Center is now underway!  We are very excited to have started this process, and we'll be posting regular updates primarily on our Twitter account, with additional photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram. Check in with us regularly on social media to follow along as construction progresses.

New Phone App
If you haven't already heard about our new app, then we encourage you to download it for free to your phone, and check it out!  You can conveniently make reservations directly from your phone, and save money when you book your tee time this way.  Many players already enjoy using the Scorecard & GPS function to get digital maps of every hole with accurate yardages for all your shots. 

Sundays in September - The Bob 9 & Operation 36
Beginning on September 8th, we'll be running The Bob 9 every Sunday in conjunction with our new Operation 36 program for adults and youth.  If you want to learn how to shoot Par or better for nine holes, we encourage you to contact PGA Professional Eric Kulinna (ekulinna@thefirstteepittsburgh.org), and become part of our Operation 36 community.

The First Tee of Pittsburgh - Fall Classes & Volunteer Opportunities
Classes for The First Tee of Pittsburgh Fall session begin on Tuesday, September 3rd.  The complete list of classes and times can be found on the Bob website calendar.  If you are interested in supporting our chapter by volunteering, please visit our website (www.thefirstteepittsburgh.org) to fill out an application, or call the Golf Shop with any questions you may have.  We appreciate your support as we strive to create Good Golfers, Better People!
